Charlie Woods has made his decision on where he’ll play his college golf.
Tiger Woods’ son is headed to Tallahassee, Florida, to become a Florida State Seminole. What a get for coach Trey Jones and his program.
Charlie, a junior at Benjamin School in Palm Beach, sits in the No. 21 spot in the American Junior Golf Association’s rankings. In November, Charlie’s team-best 68 led his high school squad to a state title with Jones watching along.
Joining Charlie at FSU will be Miles Russell, the No. 1 player in the AJGA rankings, who has made several appearances on the PGA TOUR.
Though his dad was one of the greatest Stanford Cardinal of all time (and his sister, Sam, is there now), Charlie has decided to make a name for himself at Florida State.
It’s going to be a blast to watch Charlie’s career through the college ranks. Who knows, maybe he’ll make it to the TOUR one day.
