The greens at Augusta are well known to be extremely difficult, and with dry conditions, they're already running like they normally would come Sunday.
This requires players to be at the top of their game when it comes to picking a target and, as importantly, aligning that aiming spot with precise speed.
So far, the player-putter combination atop the leaderboard is the same as last year's Green Jacket winner: Rory McIlroy and his trusty TaylorMade Spider.

A shocking stat from the top-10 (plus ties) is that Patrick Reed is the only player using a blade putter. As we have covered before, blades have become less popular over the last few years on tour, but to see this type of dominance at the Masters seems to reinforce the fact that even the best players in the world like a little extra help on the greens.
