With advanced Carbon fiber technology at its core TaylorMade engineers have combined greater forgiveness with improved speed and speed retention—this means less spin variation and more distance more often. Add in an expanded collection of models and fitting technology, the Qi35 series is the most customizable line of woods TaylorMade has ever released.
Refined Shape with Improved Center of Gravity (CoG)
By utilizing five different materials in the construction of the Qi35 drivers—Chromium Carbon fiber, titanium, tungsten, steel, and aluminium—engineers have been able to create a driver series with a near-center face CoG projection. This helps to neutralize areas of the face that produce excess spin, leading to more consistent launch conditions and distance—this is particularly noticeable on lower face strikes.
Carbon Twist Face
Now on its 4th generation, TaylorMade’s carbon face technology saves weight in the face of the driver allowing extra discretionary mass around the head to boost forgiveness and create more speed.
Trajectory Control
The Qi35 core and LS driver models feature adjustable weights to dial in launch and spin, while the Tour fairway wood has a new weighting system (more on that in a sec) to expand the adjustability range.
Expanded Hosel Adjustability
To help guarantee a higher level of fitting, TaylorMade has added adjustable hosel adapters to the core, and max fairway wood models—a feature that was previously only available on the tour model. This is going to help golfers get more precisely fit into loft and spin windows.
Embedded Face Markers
A completely unique technology made possible with TaylorMade’s carbon face is the embedded face markers in selectfit driver fitting heads. This enables fitters to get extremely accurate face impact data when using photo-based launch monitors like Foresight GC quad to help improve the driver fitting process.
“At TaylorMade, we have been pushing the envelope of forgiveness, and in Qi35, we have taken it to yet another level. The true breakthrough is delivering this new level of forgiveness with even more distance and enhanced launch conditions," Brian Bazzel, VP of Product Creation at Callaway said. "Combining that with ground breaking fitting technology in Qi35 SelectFit heads will allow the golfer to see maximum performance gains with Qi35 drivers.”
Qi35 Core
The Qi35 core model driver and fairway woods have been engineered to offer maximum forgiveness while also attempting to offer balanced low-spin performance. The adjustable hosel of the core fairway wood will now offer tour-level adjustments to golfers of all abilities.

Qi35 LS / Tour
By removing the sliding weight track in the driver, engineers were able to raise the forgiveness of the LS model compared to the previous Qi10, but without sacrificing the lower launch and spin profile.
As for the tour fairway wood, it features a titanium body vs. steel of the other models, and a very under-the-radar tweak to the design compared to the Qi10 tour is the sliding weight on the sole is asymmetrical. This asymmetrical design allows for more mass to be placed on the extreme sides of the track to either increase or decrease launch and spin a greater amount than with the previous generation.

Qi35 MAX
With the largest address shape in the entire driver and fairway wood line, the Qi35 Max driver offers 10k MOI performance, while the fairway wood offers a shallow and easy-to-hit profile.
With a deeper center of gravity and more loft (plus adjustability) the MAX fairway woods provide the confidence to elevate the ball from the ground with ease.

Qi35 MAX Lite
Built on the Qi35 Max platform, the Max Lite offers a lower total weight for the entire driver to help moderate swing speed golfers gain extra speed and potential distance. Even with 12 grams removed from the rear inertia generator (the big weight at the back of the head) the driver still reaches 9k in total MOI.

Qi35 Core
Intended for faster players who want a flatter more driving-iron-like ball flight compared to a fairway wood, the Qi35 core rescue is designed to be a workable hybrid that sits between higher lofted fairway woods and driving iron style clubs. With an adjustable hosel, it is possible to tune the loft to help create ideal gapping from long irons up to fairway woods to target any distance.
Qi35 MAX
With a large and shallow profile, the Max rescues offer high launch and peak height performance for golfers who struggle with longer clubs and are looking for more control. Although they don’t come with an adjustable hosel, the Max hybrids are available all the way down to a 35-degree 7-iron replacement.
Qi35 MAX Lite
Built on the Qi35 Max rescue platform, the Max Lite offers a lower total weight to help moderate swing speed golfers gain extra speed, peak height, and stopping power. Like the standard Max, the Max Lite hybrids are available all the way down to a 35-degree 7-iron replacement to help golfers who need help holding greens.
All Qi35 rescues are priced at $300
The TaylorMade Qi35 series will be available for pre-order starting today, January 7th, and will be in golf shops starting on January 30th.
