I for one, am a huge fan of TGL simply for reintroducing me to players that slipped into my memories' abyss. Admittedly, I've fallen off my game when it comes to tuning into golf broadcasts in recent years. Lately, I've found myself needing, no, craving more to keep my attention—some eye candy if you will. And let’s face it, the traditional set up of pro golf doesn’t always allow players to really flex their personalities—which we can all agree makes or breaks hotness. Being objectively and conventionally attractive isn’t enough, you need a little edge to land you on this list.
Welcome to a new series that we’re calling “Addie’s Baddies”, a series focused on, but not limited to, the weekly baddies of TGL and golf more broadly. I'm using this as my chance to stay up to date on golf (and the hotties) and for you to add a few players that may not be on your radar to root for.
These are the qualifications:
What is a "baddie"? A baddie is typically someone who is conventionally attractive. But for this list, there has to be something to set you apart from the rest (aka, the following)...
I must also clarify that this list is not limited to men's and women's pro golf, it can (and probably will) include YouTubers, influencers, and other personalities in the golf space.
How does one land on the list? It's simple. Be hot.
Take a note from last week's inaugural baddie: Ludvig Åberg. Full head of hair, normal size forehead, tall, and sinking putts from just about anywhere on the TGL green. He's the blueprint, no, my rubric for how all other contenders will be graded.
Week two of TGL was swarmed with all things Tiger-mania, and rightfully so. Talk about the blueprint, the golf coolness/hotness scale really began and ended with Tiger Woods once upon a time. But much like competitive golf, Woods is taking the backseat and new players are entering center stage. As captivating as Tiger Woods was last night walking into the arena, my eyes were pulled in another direction.
He's what I like to call a "sneak baddie." If you aren't careful, you'll miss him—but luckily for us, I was locked in. What caught my eye was the fake-out lululemon reusable bag that I mistook for a Goyard mini tote.

But upon further inspection, Sahith Theegala became my attention fixation for the night's match and it wasn't close.
Theegala, 27, is one of the younger guys on TOUR that has the right amount of swag, but mostly has the nice-guy nature that's so easy to root for. Paired with a relatively decent walk-in fit dedicated to city he grew up in—he's the perfect Addie's Baddies candidate.
He played some good golf, scoring crucial points for team LA.
But what Theegala ultimately did, was give us a guy to focus on. Sure Tiger was at the forefront of everyone's mind. We all anticipated Max Homa being the king of the hot mic, but Theegala was the underdog that rose to the occasion. He was the unexpected hero, and breathed life into an LA squad that was playing for something a little bit bigger last night.
