What’s it Like Playing Golf in Ukraine? Let Erik Anders Lang Tell You

Erik Anders Lang stops by this week’s episode of Vanity Index to dish on the new season of Adventures in Golf, playing in Ukraine, what’s left on his bucket list, and more.

Erik Anders Lang has traveled to every corner of the globe in search of the best stories in golf. From a prison in Louisiana and slum golf in Mumbai, to Maui and breathtaking Bermuda, EAL has seen a lot over the years as the host of Skratch’s Adventures in Golf.

And on Wednesday, the first episode of the show’s ninth season was released—it’s one of the best yet.

EAL traveled to war-torn Ukraine, a country that had just six golf courses before the start of the conflict. And despite losing a few of those in the three years since Russia invaded, golf continues to play an important role for the Ukrainians.

On this week’s episode of the Vanity Index podcast, EAL stops by for a chat with Chad Mumm and Wells Adams to discuss what made his time in Ukraine so special, the new season of AIG, playing the brand new Mike Keiser-designed Rodeo Dunes in Colorado, the one place that's still on his bucket list, being an early adapter of YouTube golf, and why people considered him the Anthony Bourdain of golf.

You’re not going to want to miss this one.

You can listen to Vanity Index wherever you get your podcasts or on the Skratch YouTube channel.
