If you've been down to that little town in Georgia where they hold a not so little major championship, you know, intimately, that the buzz doesn't end when the last putt is dropped each day. Masters week has become Super Bowl week for golf, and this year was Pro Shop and Skratch's first trip down. We had to do it right.
On Tuesday evening, we set up shop in Augusta's Midtown Tavern, called over our friends The Barnstorm (who showed up in caddie jumpsuits and played all night long), and teamed up with some of the most exciting brands in golf to put on a party where golf and culture collides, the way it does through Skratch's content, Sugarloaf Social Club's aura, and the Pro Shop mentality that the golf lifestyle is the best lifestyle.
Guests enjoyed signature cocktails from Proximo Brands and Tito's, and picked up custom swag from Sugarloaf Social Club, Jones, Del Campo, Pinned Golf, Yeti, Knockaround, Groove-It, The Number Thirty Three, Dormie Workshop, Byrdie, Titleist, and Boring Ball Markers.
So yes, there was live music, great drinks, and good people. Guests ranged from capital-G Golf icons to up and coming new-wave personalities. The evening was a transcendent moment where eras in golf collided to represent The Now. And we at Skratch were honored to be a part of it.
Here's to our first of many shindigs down in Georgia, we'll see you next year for Rory's title defense.
