This time next week, the golf world will head to Long Island and Shinnecock Hills for the U.S. Open, the third men’s major championship of the year. But before that can happen, the field needs to be solidified. Enter: Golf’s Longest Day.
Players from every corner of the country will undergo a 36-hole test on Monday, June 8, including some notable PGA TOUR stars. Max Homa, Tony Finau, Billy Horschel, Luke Clanton, and Michael Thorbjornsen are just some of the names hoping to qualify.
We’ll keep you updated as results pour in, but in the meantime, here’s all the information you need to know for Golf’s Longest Day.

A week after earning a spot in the U.S. Junior Amateur, Charlie Woods will caddie for Miles Russell at BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Woods and Russell will be future teammates at Florida State.
