Min Woo Lee Assessed a Penalty During the Third Round of the Masters

Min Woo Lee was assessed a one-shot penalty on the par-5 13th on Saturday. Here's why.

During his third round Saturday, Min Woo Lee was assessed a one-shot penalty after it was determined his actions near his golf ball forced it to move.

He was 2-over for the day before the penalty and went on to make another bogey on the par-5 13th after the penalty was confirmed.

Lee won the Houston Open two weeks ago and is making his fourth start in the year’s first major championship: T-14 (2022), MC (2023), and T-22 (2024). He’s now the 23rd-ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking.
