Max Homa has flashed some form throughout the season, but overall, it’s been another disappointing campaign thus far for the former World No. 5. This week in Fort Worth, Texas, he’ll change things up with another new caddie on his bag.
Homa, who employed Joe Greiner for years before the pair split in April of last year, has had Lance Bennett conducting looping duties for the better part of a year, but it’ll be his friend Peter Pappageorge picking up the Cobra staff bag at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial, according to Golfweek.

The now-ranked-123rd player in the world most recently missed the cut at the PGA Championship. Overall, he’s made nine of 13 cuts, but has finished inside the top 25 just twice. His best finish of the season came at the Masters, where he tied for ninth—he’ll earn an invitation back to Augusta National in 2027 thanks to that yellow square on his Wikipedia page.

In six previous starts at Colonial, Max made three cuts, with his best finish coming in 2023 when he tied for ninth.
