He’s Back! Michael Block has Qualified for the PGA Championship

Return of the Block! Michael Block shot a final-round 73 in the PGA Professional Championship to finish in a tie for third, good enough to qualify for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, scheduled for May 15-18.

Blockie stole a little bit of Brooks Koepka’s thunder in 2023 at Oak Hill when he finished T-15 and earned a spot in the championship’s 2024 edition.

His week was full of all-time moments, including his reaction to finding out he would play the final round alongside Rory McIlroy.

Oh, and he made a hole-in-one with the Northern Irishman right by his side.

The People’s Champion.

I have no clue how he’s gonna follow that performance up—he missed the cut at Valhalla last year—but I can’t wait to find out.
