There isn’t a company in golf that gets in its promo bag more than Nike. The folks out of Beaverton, Oregon, hit it out of the park every single time. And that continued Monday when the Swoosh dropped its post that celebrated Scottie Scheffler’s fourth straight PGA TOUR Player of the Year award.
The cop cars, the cowboy hat, the onesie for Bennett, the ravioli ornament (if you know you know). Nike nailed it.
But I’d like to bring your attention to the putting green and the hat under the tree. Is it just me, or is that the old shield logo? The very same one that was seen on the outfits Scheffler, Michelle Wie West, and Tom Kim wore at a recent shoot.
All signs are pointing to Nike having a huge year in golf once the calendar flips to 2026, and I couldn’t be more excited.
And just for the hell of it, let’s revisit Nike’s ad from when Scheffler won the PGA Championship in May. This one’s the GOAT.
