Winning major championships is what separates good players from great ones, but they also come with a whole lot more than just hardware. Capturing one of golf’s big four can set up a player’s career for a decade.

Oh, and the money isn’t too bad, either.

Last year, J.J. Spaun took home $4.3 million when he drained that electric 64-foot birdie putt at Oakmont’s par-4 18th. Although the purse hasn’t been announced for Shinnecock yet, it’s safe to say it’ll be more than 2025, knowing how money pools have increased in golf over the past five years. On top of the cash, the winner will also receive 750 FedExCup points.

Here’s a full breakdown of what the U.S. Open winner in the Hamptons will get next Sunday.
