Will Zalatoris won’t be teeing it up at TPC Craig Ranch this week after withdrawing from THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson on Wednesday afternoon.
Zalatoris, a Dallas resident, will be missed by the fans in Mckinney, Texas, this week. In two previous appearances at Craig Ranch, the World No. 68 finished T-17 in 2021 and missed the cut in 2022.
He hasn’t had his best stuff to this point of the season, with zero top-10 finishes in nine starts. However, he’s made all but one cut and has grabbed three top-25s.
No reason was given for his WD, we just have to hope it’s not injury related. Zalatoris has missed serious time in the past due to his back.
Hopefully he’ll be 100 percent for the next two weeks, a signature event in the Truist Championship and the year’s second major championship, the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
