Bay Hill is Producing Carnage Early, And We’re Here For It

It’s hard hat time at Bay Hill.

To this point of the PGA TOUR season, we’ve seen several winners come in around 20 under, a 59 from Jake Knapp, and tons of other low scores. If you’re hoping for that again this week in Orlando, boy-oh-boy do I have news for you.

The King’s Place is kicking these guys’ teeth in early and it’s been incredible entertainment. The wind is up, the golf course is firm and fast, and a beachball might get lost in this rough. You can say whatever you want about Bay Hill, but it’s a major championship-type test year in and year out and produces a stacked leaderboard. Tough to ask for anything more than that.

In my many trips to Bay Hill, I've always wondered how these guys never hit it in the water on the third. It's an outrageously hard tee shot for mere mortals. JDay put his first and third shots in the drink.
