It’s my own fault, but the Australian Open has fallen through the cracks. Yes, I know how incredible Royal Melbourne is, I know Rory McIlroy is highlighting the field, but for some reason, it hasn’t been top of mind.
That is, until I saw this video from our team Down Under.
I mean, are you kidding me? How pure is that?
Ever since that dropped, it’s all I’ve been thinking about. And because the Aussie Open is being played on the other side of the world—if we’re being honest, it might as well be another planet—the first round gets underway Wednesday afternoon for those of us in the States.
The best part, though, is one of the first groups going out for round one: McIlroy, Min Woo Lee, and Adam Scott. That’s about as good as it gets. The star-studded threesome will tee off at 7:05 local time, 3:05 p.m. ET. Luckily for us, first-round coverage kicks off at 4 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
Here’s a full look at how you can watch the Australian Open this week at Royal Melbourne.
