Welcome back to the Lone Star State, folks. The PGA TOUR just couldn’t stay away.
This week, the best players in the world are in McKinney, Texas, for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler headlines the field as he continues to search for his first win of the season. He’s joined by Jordan Spieth, Sam Burns, Jake Knapp, Sungjae Im, Will Zalatoris, Tom Kim, and defending champion Taylor Pendrith, among others.

Mr. An has played some great golf over his last six starts, finishing T-21 or better three times. The 33-year-old is still searching for his first TOUR win, and I think this is a great spot for him. In two previous trips to TPC Craig Ranch, he finished T-4 in 2024 and T-14 in 2023. I hate betting 25/1 on a guy who's never won, so shop around for the best price.
Stephan Jaeger (40/1)

Jaeger finished inside the top 20 at this event in 2024 and 2023, and has played well in Texas over the last few seasons. He tied for 11th at the Houston Open last month, won it in 2024, and tied for 20th at Craig Ranch last season. His game fits this place perfectly and I think he’ll make plenty of birdies to get into contention.
Jake Knapp (60/1)

Knapp had a chance to win this tournament a year ago after shooting rounds of 64-64-67 over the first three rounds before a Sunday 70 pushed him down the board into solo eighth. He’s coming off a nice performance at the Zurich Classic, granted, it’s a team event, so it’s a little tougher to know exactly where his game stands. But his swing looks good—duh—and I like his style of play around Craig Ranch.
