LPGA Long Ball: The Longest Hitters on Tour and Their Driving Averages

For the last couple of years German player Polly Mack has been leading driving distance, but she's now been dethroned...by a rookie.

Pace of play aside, driving distance has been a hot topic of discussion in pro golf over the last several years. The conversations have taken place predominately on the men's side of the game, with heavy hitters like Rory and Bryson testing course limits, but it makes you wonder—how does the distance debate impact the women's game? How are far are the longest women on tour?

Even for the casual women's golf viewer, when you think about the heavy hitters you're likely to think of Lexi Thompson and maybe Nelly Korda. Thompson teed it up in a PGA TOUR event in October 2023, where she averaged an impressive 301.2 yards off the tee (above the TOUR average). Sadly she missed the cut, but still held her own among the most elite in the men's game.

But now that she's retired from a fully competitive schedule on the LPGA Tour, who are the other heavy hitters outside of Thompson to know?

Look no further: meet six of the longest players on the LPGA Tour and their driving averages.

Polly Mack

2025 Average Driving Distance: 285.25

With one of the of the silkiest swings on Tour, German player Polly Mack has been one of the longest hitters since she joined the LPGA in 2023. Mack is one of two players this season who is averaging over 280 yards. But there's a rookie who has come in and dethroned her.

Julia Lopez Ramirez

2025 Average Driving Distance: 287.25

The former Mississippi State Bulldog and two-time SEC champion is full throttle into her rookie season. She took an early exit from her college career when she had a berth into last year's LPGA Q School, where she finished T-10, securing her card for 2025.

Despite only two career starts, being cut both times, Lopez Ramirez is the Tour driving distance leader, two yards ahead of Mack.

Bianca Pagdanganan

2025 Average Driving Distance: 278.42

Pagdanganan provided one of my favorite golf moments last summer, landing an absolute bomb off the tee into the arms of an official. The 27-year-old is nothing if not consistent. Since 2020, she's floated around the top-5 in driving distance, staying within the 275-280 yard window. Her off the tee performance is one of the strengths of her game.

Natthakritta Vongtaveelap

2024 Average Driving Distance: 290.61

The 22-year-old from Thailand only competed in 10 Tour events last year and only made four cuts, and sadly wasn't able to retain her playing card for the 2025 season, but despite that she managed to lead driving distance for the 2024 season.

This was the highest driving distance since Anne van Dam in the 2021 season, who averaged 290.82 yards off the tee.

Auston Kim

2025 Average Driving Distance: 278.43

In just her sophomore season, Auston Kim has found herself as the fourth longest player on Tour. Her tempo is one of the best in the game and she simply just unleashes it—it's like poetry in motion. Kim's all around game is strong, she's worked with acclaimed short game coach Joe Mayo (Viktor Hovland's former instructor), and has thrown together a handful of top-10s in her debut season.

Kim's a Skratch player to watch.

Emily Kristine Pederson

2025 Average Driving Distance: 279.25

Perhaps the most impressive player on this list is Emily Kristine Pederson, who has increased her driving distance by nearly 10 yards, jumping from the 22nd longest player on the LPGA to the third longest in 2025 thus far.

Golfers are constantly striving to find more distance, maximizing their abilities to give themselves the best advantage and Pederson is proof that when you find the right recipe of the best equipment, fitness, and swing changes—good things can and will happen.
