Despite LPGA play carrying on in Asia, it feels like a "welcome back" is sort of necessary. It's been 45 days since the Tour has played stateside and the last time we saw world No.1 Nelly Korda compete. With the limited fields of the Asia swing, this week's Ford Championship in Arizona will be a showcase of the world's best getting into their final form with the first major of the year, the Chevron Championship, just weeks away.
Here's what you need to know about the weekend ahead.
The 144-player field is stacked. The field this week includes: all five of the 2025 LPGA Tour winners, 19 of the top 20 in the Rolex Rankings are slated to compete (including all of the top-10), and 18 the 21 2025 LPGA Tour rookies.
Headlining the weekend is Nelly Korda, who is set to defend her title which was apart of her insane win-streak last spring.

Last month, before the LPGA Founder's Cup, a memo was sent out to players regarding a new changes/updates to the pace of play policy. The topic of slow play has been a popular one, and the LPGA has taken a stance on doing something about it—and we finally will see these changes play out in real time starting this week at the Ford Championship.
Since the initial announcement of the policy changes, another update has been issued, stating that players with 40 or more holes timed will be fined.
Don't miss out on the action this weekend.
