The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is one of the most fun-focused stops on the PGA TOUR. Two-man teams compete in a few formats throughout the week, with four-ball (best ball) on Thursday and Saturday and foursomes (alternate shot) on Friday and Sunday.
Career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry are back to defend their title that they claimed over Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a sudden-death playoff last year. I can’t wait to see the Northern Irishman tee it up for the first time since winning the Masters. The epitome of playing with house money.
Each member of the winning team will go home with $1,329,400 of the $9.2 million purse.
TPC Louisiana is a par-72, 7,425-yard layout designed by Pete Dye.
