The Air Jordan Rev isn’t just a new golf shoe release—it’s a statement made. With the official release set for May 22, Jordan Brand is signaling a clear pivot in its approach to the sport, moving beyond retro-inspired offerings to deliver performance-first innovation with signature style.
At the center of this evolution is Flight Lock, a newly developed containment system designed to optimize stability, energy transfer, and comfort for golfers of all skill levels. The hallmark of Flight Lock is its interchangeable Air Zoom unit and Formula23 foam insert, which allow golfers to customize their footwear based on swing orientation. Right-handed players will benefit from a Zoom unit in the right shoe—acting like a gas pedal during the backswing—while left-handed players can simply reverse the setup. The opposing foot is outfitted with Formula23 foam for cushioned stability and shock absorption during the follow-through.
This modular system provides a personalized feel and functional advantage rarely seen in modern golf footwear.
The upper is constructed from breathable, waterproof synthetic leather, built to withstand variable conditions while maintaining a soft, consistent fit. Underfoot, the Rev features a molded plate with integrated traction, informed by pressure-mapping studies, offering grip and stability from the first tee to the final green. A Cushlon foam midsole rounds out the ride, striking a balance between comfort and responsiveness.
Lockdown and fit are dialed in—literally—thanks to a twist-based lacing system that allows for micro-adjustments throughout the round. A leno-weave strap locks the foot in for enhanced containment, whether walking or swinging at full speed.
Visually, the Air Rev maintains the sleek, confident lines synonymous with Jordan Brand. Though the performance is futuristic, the design language is unmistakably rooted in the Jumpman DNA. It’s performance with presence.
The launch of the Rev coincides with the rollout of a new Jordan Golf apparel collection, blending archival MJ silhouettes with updated fits, minimalist design, and functional fabrics. Together, the footwear and apparel mark a fresh chapter—one that’s focused less on nostalgia and more on defining the future of golf through innovation, storytelling, and style.
Built for power and precision, the Air Jordan Rev channels trail foot energy into torque with a moveable Air Zoom unit—turning pressure into performance with every swing.
