There’s something special about two neighbors finally cooking up a project together. Payntr Golf and Forresters, two Oregon brands literally a short drive apart, linked up for a shoe that feels inevitable in the best way. The FO Rainshedder RS1 isn’t just a collab; it’s the Pacific Northwest in shoe form.
Forresters brought their rugged, weather-hardened DNA to the table, the same mentality built from decades of waterproof aprons, outer shells, and “if it rains, we still play” practicality. You can see it immediately: the earthy color palette, the asymmetric branding, the finishes that feel more like a lumber yard than a locker room.
Payntr gave them the full lab. The shoe is anchored by a completely seam-sealed waterproof Clarino microfiber upper that’s lighter than traditional materials but way tougher. The knit bootie and zip shroud act like a rain jacket for your foot, and the internal Rainshedder membrane creates a sealed, breathable interior that keeps the weather out and lets you keep playing.

For Payntr, this is easily one of their strongest projects of the year, a real showcase of how technical and directional they’re willing to go. For Forresters, it’s a milestone. A comeback moment that honors their heritage while showing they can hang in modern performance design.
The FO Rainshedder RS1 drops November 21 at forrestersouterwear.com and payntrgolf.com.
