Tom Kim, a Diva, Showed Up to TGL Wearing Nike x Bode

Four weeks into TGL tunnel walks and pre-match fits, we have finally hit the jackpot. Everyone say "thanks Tom Kim" for being an absolute diva, and bringing the heat in this Nike x Bode hockey-esque lace up jersey.

Bode, is American luxury fashion at it's best. Emily Adams Bode Aujla, founder and designer, takes modern silhouettes and mixes in old-fashioned/traditional techniques like quilting, patchwork, and embroidery, to create masterful one-of-a-kind pieces that are rooted in sentimentality.

Last April, Bode and Nike introduced a recreational sport inspired collection that pulled in retro styling straight from a 1970s gym class.

Enter, TK’s fit. It’s subtle, kind of like “if you know, you know” vibes. One of my friends actually DM’ed me, “Not Tom Kim in Bode?!”

It’s so unexpected but refreshingly so. A lot of these golfers tend to flex their fashion IQ in footwear, but Kim took it to another level and matched it with a demure little hair flick. Ultimately, we love to see it for multiple reasons. First of all, highbrow fashion meets professional golfer? We're in. I don't think Bode makes anything that'd actually translate to high level performance golf, so we're ultimately grateful the existence of TGL gave us a stage for it. We're also hopeful a lot of golf fans are simply finding out what Bode is from tonight's walk-in. (If you've got sticker shock, all good, just remember it's because typically Bode garms are made in very limited quantities and are done intricately so, as I mentioned above.)

Lastly, Kim wasn't alone this week. It seemed like everyone stepped up their game (or, in Adam Scott's case, maintained it). Is the TGL walk-in officially a fashion moment in waiting now? I think Tom Kim might have made it so.
