Did Justin Rose Just One-Up Rory McIlroy’s Shot on No. 7?

There are tap-in birdies, and then there are tap-in birdies like the one Justin Rose made at the seventh on Sunday at the Masters.

Last year, one of Rory McIlroy’s iconic shots from the final round of the Masters was when he drove it down the left-hand side, into the trees on the par-4 seventh. Instead of chipping out, he did this:

Pretty awesome, right?

Well, Justin Rose may have outdone him on Sunday.

From the right trees, Rose hit a massive cut that perfectly caught the slope and funneled to just a few inches from the hole. A pretty damn good tap-in birdie, if you ask me.

That shot got Rose to 10 under for the tournament, and at the time, two shots back of the leader, Cameron Young.
