Last year, one of Rory McIlroy’s iconic shots from the final round of the Masters was when he drove it down the left-hand side, into the trees on the par-4 seventh. Instead of chipping out, he did this:
Pretty awesome, right?
Well, Justin Rose may have outdone him on Sunday.
From the right trees, Rose hit a massive cut that perfectly caught the slope and funneled to just a few inches from the hole. A pretty damn good tap-in birdie, if you ask me.
That shot got Rose to 10 under for the tournament, and at the time, two shots back of the leader, Cameron Young.
