Let's Rank Some of the Best Caddie Bibs at the Valspar Championship

I’m gonna be honest, no one will ever touch Robert MacIntyre’s caddie bib from last year’s Valspar Championship.

Team Europe was just a few months removed from taking care of the Americans in Rome and once again claiming the Ryder Cup. MacIntyre, a rookie on that team, wasn’t going to let Team USA team members and fans forget about it.

I just don’t see that ever being beat.

However, there are some great ones at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course this week and I had no choice but to rank ‘em. It felt like a must.

7. BIG Ship: Just like Joel Dahmen before him, Neal Shipley turned into an overnight fan-favorite thanks to his appearance on Full Swing. This is his first start at the Valspar, so we’ll give him a pass for a weak-ish bib choice.

6. Koala: If you haven’t heard the name Karl Vilips, you’ve been living under a rock. He’s the first player to sign with Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red apparel brand and won a few weeks ago at the Puerto Rico Open. Kid’s a stud. He’s from Down Under, so the Koala bib is pretty self-explanatory (plus it’s in his IG handle). It’s good, just not as good as the others.

5. HBD to Me: Speaking of Dahmen, he’s all about his looper this week. Geno celebrated his birthday on Tuesday, March 19, so Dahmen ensured with this bib that he’d hear some happy birthdays all week long. Respect.

4. Gilmore’s Caddie: Willy Z looks just like Happy’s caddie from the original movie, and now he’s set to appear in the sequel later this year. This is a strong bib choice. Love it.

3. JessicasHusband: Sure, Adam Hadwin might play on the PGA TOUR, but his wife is a social media star and a must-read every time she gets on the keys for Skratch. She’s the best, and shout out to Adam and caddie Joe Cruz for just *getting it.* This one’s awesome.

2. The Other J.T.: J.T. Poston could make this his permanent bib at the Valspar and I’d love it every time. I just wish Poston and Justin Thomas were playing together.

1. Molly’s Dad: JT and his wife, Jillian, welcomed their first child back in November, a baby girl named Molly. This might have been a layup choice, but it’s perfect. Perspective overload.
