Though it's undergone many names, the Chevron Championship has been the kickoff to the LPGA majors season since 1983. Over the 41 year of the major's existence, there have been plenty of iconic moments. From Amy Alcott's inaugural leap into Poppie's Pond to Karrie Webb's hole out eagle on the 18th—these are the memories that have helped shape the history of this tournament.
But one thing that has withstood the test of time at the major are the major looks that have been served through the decades. The times have changed, and so has the fashion. So before we crown a new Champion at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, let's take a look at 10 of the best looks/moments from the Chevron Championship.

I mean come on! She's an icon, she's a legend and she is the moment in this black and pink number. But can we also talk about the fluffy hair/visor combo? Though she never won it as a major (she won in 1981, when it was the Colgate-Dinah Shore), Ms. Lopez earns a spot on the list for this.
I don't think anything else needs to be said other than, whoever wins on Sunday needs to break this celebration out.
Now this, is aura. My goodness this is simply perfection. The hat, the sweater, the golf cuban link—this is a masterclass in on-course flexing.
If you ever thought designer accessories didn't belong on the course, well I'm sorry to say that you're wrong. Grace Park in a Gucci bucket hat added 10 years to my life. Bring it back!!!
Something was in the water in '02—the drip was simply legendary. Annika Sorenstam's red laceless Nike's were the star of the show during the Swede's second Kraft Nabisco Championship (now Chevron) win. We'd argue that this was the start of Nike Golf's footwear era. Before the TWs and Air Jordans, these bad boys were ahead of their time.
When a player wins' there's usually an entire team behind them. This was absolutely the case for Lorena Ochoa when she and her family took the infamous leap of victory into Poppie's Pond in 2008. Her being hoisted into the air is a real Kodak moment.
Golf's First Lady, Dinah Shore was the tournament host from its inception. She'd put together these elaborate parties during the week called "Dinners with Dinah" where she'd bring some of her fellow stars together for a night of celebrating golf and getting folks excited about the golf tournament. This image feels like a true Hollywood party...and I have FOMO.
Once again, big fan of what was going on fashion wise in 2002. Normally pink and orange plus plaid would make my head hurt, but in this instance it just works. Something about it screams Palm Springs and feels on brand for the location and the moment. Puma's collab with Dani Dazey earlier this year feels like a small nod to this look.
Annika's ruby red loafers walked so the Wiezy 16s could run. The high top Nike Blazers Wie used to sport turned heads, and it was really the only time a women's golfer was making noise in footwear. These leopard print kicks were a major-worthy moment.
The fluffy hair with the wide brim visor, the 80s aerobic-esque fit, what a look. I'm also very here for the bubblegum pink/capri blue color combo.
