Drivers are always the headline grabber. They are designed to be swung as fast as possible and go as far as possible and for golfers at all levels they can make or break a round of golf. Not only that, they are the single most expensive golf club most golfers are going to purchase (unless we're talking about very high-end custom putters), which is why it’s important to make sure you get the right one.
So, to help kickstart your 2025 driver search, we’ve put together a beginner cheat sheet of all the newest drivers from the biggest manufacturers. And to make things as unbiased as possible—we’ve compiled them in alphabetical order.
With Callaway’s launch of the Elyte series, their designers have put a greater focus on how segmenting clubs within the product line can help golfers find a performance advantage. This is made possible with the help of artificial intelligence and the evergrowing database they can draw from to create differentiation. For 2025 Callaway has four new options in the Elyte driver series with the Elyte (Core), Triple Diamond, X, and Max Fast

All four of the new DS Adapt driver models include core Cobra technologies and design attributes including PWRBridge (depending on the model's weighting needs), machine-learning refined H.O.T. variable face thickness, and weight saving carbon crowns and soles. Whether you're looking for all out speed or max forgiveness, between the four available options, there is something for any golfer.

The DS-ADAPT X Driver is designed for golfers seeking fast speeds and lower spin, paired with medium launch and added forgiveness.
The G440 series from Ping utilizes modifications between models to help golfers see greater differentiation during the fitting process, along with improved internal design features to boost performance. The three models include the Max, LST (Low Spin Technology), and SFT (Straight Flight Technology) to help any golfer find the best fit and play their best.

The G440 MAX is the most forgiving model and fits most golfers; available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts with a three-position adjustable back weight.
With the help of a new and stronger Ti72S titanium, the engineers at Srixon have evolved the thickness pattern behind the driver face to further optimize energy transfer. This is made possible because the new titanium had a higher strength-to-weight ratio which allows for the middle of the face to be made thinner without sacrificing durability so thicker areas could be placed on the heel and toe to help with mishits. The Three models include the ZXi (core), ZXi LS (low spin), and ZXi Max.

The ZXi Driver combines blistering ball speed with exceptional MOI for a club that provides a player with superb drives and forgiveness while keeping spin relatively low. Two adjustable sole weights allow you to calibrate a preferred ball flight path with your personal swing characteristics.
With advanced Carbon fiber technology at its core TaylorMade engineers have combined greater forgiveness with improved speed and speed retention—this means less spin variation and more distance more often. Add in an expanded collection of models (Qi35 Core, LS (low spin) Max, and Max Lite) and fitting technology, the Qi35 series is the most customizable line of woods TaylorMade has ever released.

Qi35 has a near zero CG projection with incredible MOI creating efficient launch and spin over a larger area of the face.
The entire GT driver line which includes the GT1, GT2, GT3, and GT4 offers greater ball speed retention thanks to the extra strength and flexibility of the ATI 425 material used in the face. The line is also the most stable Titleist has ever produced thanks to the incorporation of a proprietary matrix polymer crown to save weight from the top of the club head. This material not only helps create a more ideal weight distribution but also helps the driver maintain a preferred metallic sound at impact.

At the core of the Mizuno ST-230 line of drivers is their CorTech Chamber which places a high-density stainless steel weight inside of an elastomer TPU built right into the sole of the driver. The TPU fills a through slot on the sole of the driver that creates more flex on the rigid bottom of the face to increase flexibility for faster ball speeds and lower spin.
With four models to choose from including the high MOI ST-230 MAX, it’s easy to find one that will fit your game, not to mention budget since they start at just $300.

Wide profile, massive 54g back weighting and 40% larger graphite composite for extreme twist resistance to off centre strikes and a straight, predictable ball flight.
When it comes to drivers, the Black Ops line from PXG marks their biggest improvements across the board. By introducing a new titanium for the club face, high-strength carbon on the sole and crown, and adjusting the geometry to improve aerodynamics and MOI - the result is PXG's fastest and most forgiving driver line, with the added benefit of improved feel. Not to mention, they also just added a mini driver to the line - PXG’s Secret Weapon: The Best Mini Driver on the Market?
