How could I miss it? He was right under my nose the entire time. Billy Horschel is the TGL baddie final boss.
He was quite literally made for this. He commands the stage (the rotating green) and looks right at home, pumping the juice into every match.
With the inaugural season on TGL winding down to a close, crowning one final baddie just before the TGL's SoFi Cup Winner is named felt like the right thing to do. From Ludvig to Min Woo, Billy Ho had some formidable competition but just like his Atlanta Drive Squad, he found a way to prevail.
I mean, his muscle tank moment alone should have sealed the deal for me, but at times it felt too obvious. I wanted to wait and see if anyone else would rise to the occasion, and some did, but it was always going to be Horschel...it was, no, he is inevitable.

Horschel’s personality is a bright light in professional golf and he’s easily one of the most entertaining to watch. His big toothy smile is so damn infectious, and boy, does he have swagger!
Like woah? Breaking out and flexing the blinged out “dirty birds” chain is such a power move to pull, and honestly totally on brand for Horschel. If I had to expect any of the TGL participants to do such a thing, of course it's Billy.
I've waxed poetic about TGL being such a great peek into the pro's personalities and consider this the final bow (for the TGL season, baddies isn't going anywhere!) and one last thank you for gracing us with these special moments I'll cherish forever.
Billy Horschel, welcome to the baddie club, take a seat on your throne.
